Extra Point Club

The Extra Point Club was founded in 1979 by Ann Bowden, wife of FSU former Head Football Coach Bobby Bowden, and is composed of a maximum of 200 women whose common interest is actively supporting FSU Athletics. The goals are to enhance spirit, develop traditions, and promote good sportsmanship.

: Extra Point Club Charter Members 1979-1980 Display Board; Board lists the names of all the charter members of the club. It includes several photographs of the founder, Ann Bowden and a copy of the poem, "Charter Chatter: Dawn of EPC" by Lucy Baer. Brenda Dyer is also highlighted as the only remaining member of EPC in attendance at the first meeting.
