Smoke Signals was a student-run publication published between 1951 and at least 1970. It was a continuation of the college quarterly magazine, founded in 1926 formerly titled Distaff (1926-47) and then Talaria (1947-51). With the name change to Smoke Signals in 1951, students pushed for a change in content from literary to action, satire, and humor.
In this digital collection, you will find issues from both Talaria and Smoke Signals, part of the publication collections in Heritage & University Archives.
