Objectives: The Latinx population is one of the fastest growing minority groups in the United States, with a current population of around 60 million people, they make up roughly 18% of the US population. The current study examined the relationship between ethnic identity, self-efficacy, academic adjustment, and anxiety symptoms in Latinx undergraduates. Methods: Sample consisted of 155 participants (Mage = 20.4, SD = 1.67; 72.7% female). Ethical approval was granted by Florida State University Institutional Review Board (IRB) (Study ID: STUDY00003509). Participants completed an online Qualtrics questionnaire available to eligible students using FSU's secure network (Qualtrics Software, 2021). Completion of the survey questionnaire took approximately 35-40 minutes. Results: No domains of ethnic identity (exploration, resolution, affirmation) were correlated with symptoms of general anxiety (r = .010, p > .05; r = .036, p > .05; r = -.135, p > .05) respectively. Results found college self-efficacy significantly mediates the effect of ethnic identity-exploration on academic adjustment with an estimated standardized indirect effect ab = 0.11, 95th percentile bootstrap CI [.05, .11]; p<.01, and standardized direct effect c = .125 , 95th percentile bootstrap CI [-.04; .281]; p>.05). Conclusion: As the Latinx college population continues to increase, researchers in this area of development must pay close attention to all aspects of the college environment that may influence Latinx outcomes. Ethnic identity, college self-efficacy, and academic adjustment were all shown to positively correlate with one another, emphasizing the need to continue research on how higher levels of ethnic identity may promote successful academic adjustment
