The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) develops educational leaders and policy analysts who are committed to improving PreK-20 education through its study, development, implementation and evaluation at all levels of government and in a wide range of institutions, schools and international agencies.
Faculty research is focused in the areas of financing education, teacher quality and access to education for all learners, and bears consistent influence on educational policies and programs in Florida, the nation and the world.
