Worth is inherent. It cannot be given or taken away. Human animals as well as non-human animals have intrinsic value, which can be observed by comparing the communities that they live within. Human and non-human animals are not equal, but equivalent. Humans' laws, policies, and guidelines should note and reflect the rights of both human and non-human animals.
