"The purpose of this study was to ascertain whether there were differences between a sample of 93 reopened cases at the Leon County Mental Health Clinic in Tallahassee, Florida, during a two-year period, and a sample of 100 cases-not-reopened during that period of time. The period used in the selection of cases was from July 1, 1955 through June 30, 1957. A schedule of eighteen items was utilized to gather information from 193 case records. The comparison of the two samples was done by an analysis of the information thus obtained"--Introduction.
