Paul Hasterlik writes to Alice Sigerist to express his saddness that Giulia Kortischoner will have to undergo electric shock therapy for the polio treatment. He asks Alice again to not write anything to Mia Hasterlik or Auguste Hasterlik about Giulia's polio, becuase it will only worry them and their is nothing they can do for her. He writes to Giulia about Mia and Auguste and how they are doing and also tells her not to mention anything about the polio to them. He congratulates Giulia on her upcoming birthday.
