Letter from Giulia Kortischoner to Mia Hasterlik, 1945-12-27
Giulia Kortischoner writes about travel arrangements with Mia Hasterlik, saying it is much faster to fly to New York via Lisbon, as the Kinderhelfswerk arranged for her, than via London. She writes about Anton and how he is afraid and wants to get a job in Africa because of the fact that the Russians had recently demanded that Sweden give them any Poles or Lithuanians that it had. She gives an update on Lisl Urbantisch and says that she is spending time with Gretli and Alice Sigerist, just like the old days, before she leaves for the US.
