Marcus is a Black, queer, first-gen student at FSU who is acting Assistant Director of the Pride Student Union. Marcus discusses growing up in a predominantly white school in Pensacola, moving to Miami, and then coming to FSU. Marcus also discusses the critical role of PSU at Florida State, where it not only advocates and fights for the students, but also provides a community to a marginalized group that may never had had this kind of community before.
