Description (Abstract)
This account book includes instructions for how to maintain the Belmead Plantation as well as information on how to take inventory of the plantation's assets. It includes a handwritten inventory of enslaved people on the plantation as of January 1855. There is also a daily journal kept by the manager Samual P. Collier for the year of 1855.
