Connie Tenorio
Say it in 6: "Make America great again through science." Connie Tenorio is pursuing a PhD in biomedical sciences at Florida State University. She was first drawn to FSU because of its rank as a top school for Hispanic student graduates, which she says is important for future representation as a scientist. Connie works on engineering and studying the evolution of proteins, work that has immediate application in pharmaceutical development, biomaterials, and sustainable chemical manufacturing. She hopes to become an engaged and productive member of the scientific community in the future.
