Frederick Feely II
Say it in 6: "Bringing the world to new heights." Frederick Feely II is a doctoral (PhD) student in the biomedical science program at the Florida State University College of Medicine. Through the mentoring he was given while at University of North Caroline at Pembroke and the Duke Human Vaccine Institute, Frederick became aware of gaps in the understanding of pathogen-host interactions leading to protection against infections and disease. His research interests are centered on pathogen-host interactions related to oncology and oncogenesis. By pursuing a PhD, he hopes to hone his skills as a researcher and gain the ability to thoroughly investigate the budding field of viral oncology.
