John Bandzuh
"Say it in 6: Missing from Summary John is a PhD student in Geography within Florida State's College of Arts & Sciences. His previous research has focused on mosquito-borne diseases, especially on both dengue and chikungunya viral infections, which he studied in Costa Rica. John's work there focused on analyzing public knowledge of such disease and identifying any gaps in critical information. His curricular and extracurricular work has been concerned with public affairs: one of John's biggest accomplishments is his serving on the school board of the Portage Area school district in his hometown. John is most passionate about teaching in a way that brings the world's problems before our eyes. He hopes to use current events as a mainstay of his career in teaching. "
