Wang Min
"Say it in 6: ""It opens the door to the intellectual world."" Wang is pursuing her PhD in International and Multicultural Education at Florida State University's College of Education. Her research looks at educational inequality in rural China. She feels it is important because over half of the children in China grow up in the countryside. In the future, she would like to pursue a career as a researcher in the area of rural education and rural development in China. With her experience of growing up in rural China, the training and education she received from both Chinese and American institutions, and the distance from my home country altogether offers me the great benefit of understanding the context but also an insider and outsider's perspective as a researcher."
