Letter from Giulia Kortischoner and Alice Sigerist to Paul Hasterlik, 1940-04-06
Giulia Kortischoner writes to Paul Hasterlik, telling him about her report card and the end of the school year. She also notifies him that she recieved an extension on her passport. She states that her school is putting on a concert to help raise money to support soldiers. She also states that she never wants to leave Switzerland, and would be entirely happy if the whole family could reunite there. Alice Sigerist then writes to Paul Hasterlik, forwarding him the contents of the letter from the Holland America Line from 1940-01-18 about the fact that Giulia's transport has been approved. She also forwards a letter that she sent to the Swiss "Kinderhilfe" about the logistics of getting Giulia first to London to meet with Mia Hasterlik and then to the US.
