Letter from Giulia Kortischoner to Mia Hasterlik, 1945-08-28
Giulia Kortischoner writes to Mia Hasterlik, telling her that she will likely stay in Ragaz until September 1 and that she has left her job, making it difficult for her, for foreigners cannot get residence permits without being employed. She discusses her plans to find another job, as she will likely not be able to emigrate for another 4-6 months. She also tells Mia that the letters are still being censored, as censors cut out portions of Mia's letters in which she wrote about the Russians and Japanese. She says that she is feeling much better after her water treatment.
