Gigi writes to Giulia that she apologizes for taking so long to get Giulia's suitcases to her. She also congratulates Giulia on getting a job at the Rockefeller Institute and says biochemistry is the best possible field she could end up in. Gigi urges Giulia to write to Miss Wetter, whom Giulia lived with while in Zurich, because she never did and Miss Wetter feels Giulia is ungrateful and unfaithful for this.
