Copy of remarks made by Dr. J.B. Matthews to the Florida Legislation Investigation Committee in which the speaker falsely claims that Communist agitation is responsible for Black Americans seeking racial justice. The Florida Legislation Investigation Committee was tasked with investigating academics, Civil Rights groups, and suspected communist organizations for what they deemed as subversive activities. This material was sent to, or collected by Justice Glenn Terrell during his time in office, May 15, 1923- January 12, 1964.
