Pedagogical Value of Domenico Gabrielli's Seven Ricercari

Domenico Gabrielli’s Seven Ricercari not only represent the first exploration of the technical and musical possibilities of the cello but are also assets to modern cello pedagogy. This treatise examines the pedagogical value of these pieces.
