Dr. Jonathan Appelbaum (he/him) is an HIV/AIDS specialist who has worked in HIV care for LGBTQ+ individuals since 1981. In this interview, he talks about what it was like working during the beginning of the epidemic and how it compares to today. At the time of this interview, he had worked in Tallahassee for eleven years. Dr. Appelbaum identifies himself as a gay man.
