Royce Pokela - Royce Pokela Photo

Royce Pokela is pursuing a doctoral degree (PhD) in mechanical engineering at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. He hopes to contribute fundamental research that can help in increasing the understanding of high-speed flight, which will lead to safer space travel, safer and less expensive commercial supersonic flight, and other applications. He has enjoyed working in research and looks forward to conducting his own independent work. Royce hopes to become a professor one day so that he can teach students in the classroom and in a lab to pass on the knowledge that he is currently learning.
