Esra Ozdemir
"Say it in 6: "Patience, Journey of Self-Discovery, Dedication to Learn" Esra decided to pursue her PhD in Foreign and Second Language Education at Florida State for several reasons, one of which was that Florida State has the oldest College of Education in Florida. Esra's international teaching experience in Turkey has given her perspective on the needs of students, especially language-learning students, and on how to meet those needs effectively. Indeed, Esra has overcome language learning in her own context as an international teaching assistant and research assistant. Her research thus analyzes anxiety, confidence, and enjoyment in second-language learning environments, and she hopes to continue this research and to teach as a professional after earning her degree. She has presented at an international conference and published with her advisor in a top journal. "
