Hamidreza Rahmani
Say it in 6: "Easy things are rarely worth doing!" Hamidreza Rahmani is pursuing his doctoral degree (PhD) in Physics at the Florida State University College of Arts & Sciences. His motivation stems from personal interest in science, and by fascination about research and uncovering nature's mysteries. He is currently studying the atomic model of an insect's flight muscle, which has a genetic and structural similarity to the human heart. His investigation might get us closer to understanding heart diseases like cardiomyopathy. Hamidreza was nominated for the Outstanding TA Award (2017), was President of the Physics Graduate Student Association (2018), and a Finalist of 3 Minutes Thesis (2018). His goal is to become an independent biophysics or biomedical researcher, and teach important college courses like Physics.
