He came to FSU to pursue his degree because its program in systems and networking technology is cutting edge. Saptarshi's interests and focus, which involves the use of supercomputers and other high-grade technologies, matches the resources and faculty expertise at Florida State. Saptarshi came to FSU from India, where he completed his undergraduate work, to gain skills critical for professional and specified career. He had long wanted to work in computer systems and is working toward a career in that field.
