"Say it in 6: ""Getting paid to live the dream!"" Nick Byrd is pursuing his doctoral degree ( PhD) in both Philosophy and Psychology at Florida State University's College of Arts & Sciences. He wanted a good philosophy and psychology program with proximity to his family and decided to pursue a graduate degree at FSU. He wishes to understand human reasoning and disagreement with more advanced methods. He is currently studying how our reasoning biases (or lack thereof) correlate with certain philosophical beliefs. For instance, that overcoming certain reasoning biases correlates with different moral judgements than not overcoming those biases. Nick hopes to continue researching and teaching philosophical reasoning. "
