"Say it in 6: ""Because the past informs the present.""  Will is pursuing a doctoral degree (PhD) in Religion at Florida State because of a passion for academia. His PhD research focuses on the intersections of religious ethics and philosophical accounts of collective responsibility. His goal is to stitch together a moral system that holds us accountable for the past, and for a more just future. An interest in teaching, as well as being among some of the world's best faculty, led Will to Florida State. He hopes to stay in the academy forever, develop lifelong mentoring relationships with students, and get a house with a huge yard for all the dogs he and his boyfriend will have.
