Annabelle is a bisexual queer non binary person attending Florida State University. They discuss the first moments they encountered literature that had queer characters, and how they continue to seek out books featuring and including queer characters in college. Annabelle works for Kudzu Review through the English department at FSU and discusses the community they've found through the journal; and how they have found a passion for community based work. They also talk about heteronormativity in literature, and how a lot of literature still represents queer characters through a heteronormative lens.
